its ramble time...

So i guess this is one of my oh so lovely little rambles about the week just gone. Obviously i won't tell you again about Mondays adventures as i happily chatted away about my lovely little sushi adventure on Monday. so lets inform you on the rest of my ever so interesting week.

well to be perfectly honest not so interesting in what I've done as its pretty much been get up and take my dad to work go back to sleep for a few hours then do whatever i feel like in the house. This has been generally sitting and watching the success of the Olympics constantly and then changing the channel every so often. I have to say i am one who enjoys watching her sport so have been pretty much zoned in on that staying up till the early hours of the morning just to see if we can score another medal. Quite sad i know but still entertaining for myself, i am going to be one of those people who can't wait for the games to come to our country, and this may also give us some credibility with other countries in the world and hopefully better our small country in comparison to most of the countries above us in the final medal standings an even better performance in front of a home crowd. Despite our not so great performance on the track, our other sport have excelled and like Steve Cram said on the bbc if we can fill all the spaces that the Olympics offers on the track in throwing, jumping and running then maybe we can prove that we can do just aswell as every other country in athletics instead of being constantly let down. Anyway i think this is enough on that as maybe we are all a little Olympics out.

On another Note i have found a new love in Grey's Anatomy. After being told several time by my boyfriend that i would enjoy this programme i decided with nothing better to do I'd give it go. As much as i love to prove Nick wrong as usual he was right and i quickly became quite addicted with the American medical drama. With its humorous moments along with it multiple sub stories surrounded by a major story line it provides much entertainment and i highly recommend this programme to anyone looking for something to watch. something with a mix of serious life issues and humour and may i add a pretty good looking cast too. I won't give too much away but since friday i have watched all of season 1 and am currently half way through season 2 so i am well on my way to a total addiction where i will get sad when i have no more to watch and can't wait for more lol.

So thats my TV stakes, also onto my new read. I have been getting through books like they are going out of fashion at the moment on average a new one every three days. though with my recent TV addiction i haven't read this one so fast and am now just over three quarters of the way through. I am an avid reader of Belinda Jones novels and she is a great writer on the chick lit side. Although the stories can be a little predictable they fill you with the light weight easy going escapism that every women desire from a romance novel. Her most recent publication is called Out of the Blue it involves a main character called Selena who is a cruise ship worker who is the typical character who has a man from every port or ship really, though after having her heart broken by a Norwegian captain she is weary of men and keeps them at a distance. So when she starts to feel like she has found someone she likes, she hears of his reputation and decides its better to keep her distance and reject his every advance. She is leaving the ship for her two month sabbatical and finds that after Alexos injures himself he too is on his way home. They end up spending time together on the way home and sharing stories which lead her to helping her injured crew mate back home in Greece. Through the beauty of the island Selena is soon letting her guard down to Alexos until her friend Jules, who was supposed to off getting married unexpectedly turns up and throws a spanner in the works. And this is as far as i have got i hope i haven't given too much away just the basic synopsis of the story so far. But none the less its a book i am much enjoying.

so onto my final bit which is an update on my song for the week. Ok i have a few songs this week firstly the official song of the week which i have picked as i heard it in a film i love this week is sixpence none the richer- Kiss Me, the second is Pussycat dolls- When i grow up for the reason i was talking about future with a friend last night and ultimately make me think i have not a clue what i want to do so that is in honour of that.
